Inspired by my years of service as a volunteer firefighter, wildland firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, I wanted to tell a story about friendship, loyalty, leadership and bravery.
Cinder is the story of helicopter pilot Samantha Franklin and her one-of-a-kind co-pilot: Cinder. Together, they work to help combat forest fires and rescue those in dire straits.
But one day, an unexpected turn of events leaves Sam and Cinder in danger. Will they be able to save themselves?
